Abby graduated from the University of Liverpool in Biochemistry and her final year project aimed at understanding factors that control SH3 domain binding specificity.

Abby joined the Vasilieva Lab as a DPhil student in 2023 and her project is focused on determining the contribution of the PP1 phosphates and its subunits to transcription termination and 3' end processing.
